I'm a Designer, Digital Creative, Product & Interactive Director. Sometimes a leader, some others a consultant a lecturer and a speaker but mostly a maker.

From Advertising to fashion, from branding to digital and interactive, from financial to retail, over the past 18+ years, I've been leading cross-boarder design teams for several industries, companies and clients in LatAm, Spain and the USA, conceptualizing and creating memorable experiences while working for global brands including Nike, Mozilla, HBO, Citi, Toyota, BBVA and P&G among others, producing distinctive work comprised of integrated creative on/off interactive solutions.

I've been awarded at different stages of my career, have been recipient of Webbys, Tellys and Cannes Awards and in 2005 was ranked into the top 40 list of the Best Latin American Graphic Designers.

I'm passionate about critical and organizational design and I believe in the power of data, how it helps us to make better decisions and how it improves the ways we bring value to the world. I consider myself a change enabler, I enjoy helping companies reinvent and transform through design, understanding the ways a HCD culture can support them to accomplish their strategic business goals.


I love building things using different frameworks and methodologies, I'm an enthusiast of systems and sustainable design approaches where the blend between design + technology is a key to improve peoples lives. The greatest part of my days I'm focused in coaching and leading multidisciplinary design professionals, challenging them day by day to level up and surpass trends.

         

Right now I spend my time between consultancy projects at XpecialX, a division of the International Bureau for Human Interactions where I'm a partner and Co-Founder and at BBVA Bank where I work as Head Global of UX + Product Design for Commercial Banking.
